Volunteers
The 4-H year goes from October 1st of the school year to September 30th the next school year. Enrollment is open all year. In order to exhibit in the Juneau County fair enrollment must be made by March 1st of the county year in order to exhibit with 4-H. You may still exhibit under the "open" class if enrolled after March 1st. The cost for enrollment is a one time fee of $5 per youth or $10 for family.

For grades KG - 2nd, 4-H offers a special program just for younger members. Cloverbuds help the younger youth try out different project areas while learning to work in a group, making new friends, and participating in activites and community service along with the older members.

With over 100 different project areas to choose from there is something for everyone. When enrolled in 4-H, members take on roles to make things happen, make a difference in your community, learn by doing, expand your skills, and take part in activites that interest you.

The possiblities for adult volunteers is endless within 4-H. Volunteers can lead workshops, share their talents and knowledge , chaperone fieldtrips, help plan and conduct events, contribute through promoting and supporting 4-H plus so much more.
